R&S Accounts Ltd was set up in 2007 as a small family business. Before this business was started, Rachel worked in accountancy since graduating from university in 1998. Steve began working in accountancy in 2001 and is also a qualified teacher. Rachel specialises in accounts for small businesses, including computer contractors, management consultants and other small family businesses.
We will work very hard to understand your business and work out the most tax efficient way forward for you. In many ways, being a small business has worked very well because it has enabled us to give clients the time and attention needed on their accounts. We do not charge any extra for answering your business queries because we feel that it is so important for you to understand how the financial side of your business works and how you can operate tax efficiently. This has resulted in an extremely high level of customer satisfaction which can be seen from our testimonial page.

Rachel Robins BSc(Hons) MAAT
Rachel grew up in Southampton, studied at Loughborough University from 1994-1998 with a year out at Trier University in Germany and now lives in Tamworth, Staffordshire with her children and husband, Steve. She graduated with an honours degree in Economics. Her first accountancy position was with the chartered accountants, PricewaterhouseCoopers in Southampton where she worked on the audit of large company accounts. In 1999 she married Steve and moved to Tamworth where she started work for a local firm of accountants that specialised in small company accounts and computer contractors. She also became a full Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians.
In 2007 it was the right time to start up her own business specialising in small company accounts and payroll: R&S Accounts Ltd. This business has gone from strength to strength and Rachel finds it great to be able to give small businesses the time and attention needed so that all clients are highly satisfied with the accountancy service that we offer.
Rachel Robins is licensed and regulated by the Association of Accounting Technicians to provide accountancy and taxation services.
Steven Robins BSc(Hons) QLTS PGCE
Steve is originally from Tamworth, Staffordshire and also studied at Loughborough University from 1994-1998 and graduated with an honours degree in science. He then moved back to Tamworth, Staffordshire and originally worked in a high precision electronics field before starting a career in accountancy in 2001. He has completed the Association of Accounting Technicians qualification. He is also a qualified teacher. He spent his earlier years in accountancy job sharing with Rachel whilst the children were young.
Running a small business has really worked well because it has pooled together both of our skills and enabled us to offer a very high quality and affordable service to all of our clients.
